Sheriff’s Office, (ICAC) Investigation Results in Additional Charges for Flowery Branch Man

A Flowery Branch man faces 26 additional counts of sexual exploitation of children after Hall County Sheriff’s Office Investigators obtained warrants this week.

On Monday, Jan. 7, Investigators completed forensic processing of electronic devices seized during the execution of a search warrant at Steven Joseph Robertson’s home last fall. They located additional videos of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Robertson, 27, has remained in the Hall County Jail since his October 17, 2019, arrest.

He is now charged with a total of 52 counts of sexual exploitation of children as a result of the Sheriff’s Office and Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigation.

ORIGINAL RELEASE, Oct. 18, 2019 – A Flowery Branch man is charged with 26 counts of sexual exploitation of children as the result of a Hall County Sheriff’s Office investigation into an October 14 cyber tip from the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

Sheriff’s Office Investigators obtained a warrant for the arrest of Steven Joseph Robertson, 27, of Compass Drive, on Thursday, October 17, after executing a search warrant at his home.

During the search, Investigators seized several electronic devices that Robertson used to obtain at least 26 videos of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct with adults. He uploaded the videos between May and June of 2019, according to the initial investigation.

Robertson was taken into custody at the Sheriff’s Office South Precinct at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. He remained in the Hall County Jail without bond on Friday afternoon, October 18.

The case remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and Georgia ICAC Task Force.
