Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident in Gainesville

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle traffic accident that claimed the life of a Gainesville man early Wednesday morning, March 25.

Sheriff’s Deputies and Hall County Fire Services personnel responded to the call at approximately 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of Timber Ridge Road and Miller Lake Road in East Hall County.

According to the preliminary investigation, the victim, Roland Juarez, 28, was driving south on Timber Ridge Road when his 1998 Buick Park Avenue traveled off of the roadway in a curve. The car went into an uncontrolled spin and collided with a tree.

Juarez, who was traveling alone, was not wearing a seatbelt and died on the scene of the collision. His next of kin has been notified.

The accident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Accident investigation Unit.
